1986 Checkmate Starliner for Sale
Checkmate Starliner (1986) with Mercury (1998 uncrated in 2000) 200 EFI outboard. This boat comes with removable ski pylon, bimini top, custom fitted cover and snap in bow cover, stereo, 4 blade stainless steel prop, engine mounted to hydraulic jack plate, and trailer. $7500 .
This boat is in great condition. The vinyl seating has no fading and only a few minor spots where the stitching is pulling away. The floor is solid and has no rot. The gel coat is oxidizing in some spots, but nothing that can't be worked out with a bit of elbow grease. We did not use it in the Saltwater here in Rhode Island. It just had its spring tune up, new spark plug, and is ready to go for the summer. The boat has been a joy to own. We have used it in Missouri at Lake of the Ozarks, Tennessee at the Land Between the Lakes, and at Claytor Lake in Virginia since owning. We hate to sell, but are moving to Hawaii and can't take it with us and its too great of a boat to put into storage for 3+years.
