pyro to answer your question.... 3.95 a bottle... you can even buy it in larger bottles and drums upto 55 gallon so if you wanted your store could market their own "lablel" of VSK oil and still sell the good stuffs...
3.95 is the retail.
that is what was posted on their site.... perhaps if you call you can buy it at price to the distributor...
How about to Canada ? Just the duty is prohibitive not to mention the shipping. If I have to I will get it shipped to my buddy in New York. --- mike
What type should I get for an xr4? Type 3, 75-90W?
get the type 1..
Here's how I see it - if you're looking for the best possible performance, get Type 1. If you want to run the oil all season long - especially if your seals are several years old, get Type 3.
All are great and provide great protection. After our testing, we'll only use this product and Alisyn's 2-stroke oil.

Thank you very much. ;)
Glen Reynolds recomeded 85-140 in syn Klotz, Said the heavy oil was better on the small gear case. More heat is in the small lower unit.Quote:

I not saying Klotz is the way to go, Just stating the viscosity to use!

I recently purchased a 1986 2.4 Litre Mercury Bridgeport. Mercury obviously recommends "their brand" of Performance Blend Sythetic Blend at $189.35 per 2.5 gallon jug and their high performance gear lube at $10.95 per quart . What has been you're past experiences on using this Alisyn 2- cycle brand of mix and gear lube:confused: ? thanks...
I have a 1986 Mercury Bridgeport (240hp)..obviously Merc would like you to use their $189.35 for 2 gallons of Performance "synthetic blend" oil...Who here can tell me what they think of Alisyns 2 cycle oil? How long have you been using it? Any problems??
Thanks....
Alysin 2-stroke oil is great for your Bridgeport. :)
Greg
i ordered some gear lube from them, it was at my doorstep 2 days later!
Another plus of their gear lube is it doesn't have that nasty smell!
