Anyone ever run one of these on a CLE, I have one on a stv an I need blow out solution with out getting it coned!
Yep ,
I ran one on my Mirage with CLE in the mid 90's . Quarter miler BUT it would run 110 with no blow outs stock but modified cone and skeg...

I purchased a CLE case this winter, I think I have read every thread on here as I may or may not have made a mistake.........
Based on the threads
i think consensus is on padded boat, no torque tab, ie left had case, blow out low 80's if it has a torque tab, closer to 90, better if it has stock blowout ring, not sure what it looks like, if it has aftermarket blowout ring, and skeg mods mid 90's, with a nosecone and stock blowout ring, as good as any but a little slower than a 200 case.......
On tunnels there don't seem to be issues up to and over 100 actually a little fast than sporty due to shorter lenght
Unfortunatly I have an Allison, and I am flirting with disaster until I get it modified, but probably going to have to wait till winter.
My cle would blow out @ 86mph on my 380...Put tha ring on it and it went 98.7mph witout a hint ov blowout!!
Oh, and it don't have a number stamp'd on it anywher!!
Never saw an advantage on my 260's on my 28' skater, one did however did come loose and ruin a prop
