Jasper,
Tennessee: the location for the nucleus of outboard drag racing - The
Outboard Drag Boat Association (ODBA) 2002 World Championships,
presented by the
Outdoor Channel.
The ODBA puts in a show that is a model of
organization. 140 race boats ran through the eliminations, with two full
days of race action. The action was intense, with many races finishing in a
dead heat. In addition to the race action, boat and race accessory
manufacturers were on-site to show their latest products, as well as answer
any questions. Some venders that were present were
Jay Smith Racing Engines,
Brucato Tool and Machine,
Hydrostream Performance Boats,
Allison Ultra Performance Boats, and
STV/Triad Race Boats.
My
