Merc KG7Q

I know most of you guys would rather see a Twister,T4,or a big engine but heres a pic of my KG7Q Merc I just finished restoring.It has a padded block and heads,carter n carb and quincy stacks...Loud as hell and knows only two speeds.Off and wide open.Found this at a garage sale about 6 years ago for $65.00,thats another story by itself...Sorry for the poor lighting(in the basement)........Rob

Love those ol' green mercs. I have over 80 K series Mercs (Kiekhaefer). Almost half were bought local by just talking to people. Only have two HQ motors though. LakeRaider

I have this motor all apart right now repainting it. 5yrs ago I put new rings in it and painted it like this.

I have ONE in stock, along with 2 Mark 20's and a Mark 25

Gotta love them ole motors. Funny, the Mark 20 will beat a new 40 hp. :eek: :D
