The pictures I have seen of most of the Allison tunnels had a wing on the front and rear. Do you think this was an early version or later version of this boat? The boat also looks like it was painted Big Orange colors. Did Dr. Chuck ever own this craft? I know Chuck was not big fan of tunnel boats. He called them flipper crafts but I thought he may have owned one for a short time.
Jim Hunt could probably give us the story on this boat.

For what it's worth I bought this boat from Darris Allison 2-3 years ago. We both had too many projects to fit this one in,so it got passed along. I actually have super 8 video from Memphis in 1970 something of this exact boat when it had a V4 Stinger on it. Darris can probably fill you in on all its history. These had sponson pads that allowed the boat to ride higher with the extra speed of a speedmaster unit and they blew over often. They were best as an SJ boat. Good Luck on the project.
