A buddy just bought this boat. I thought I could identify most of these older ones, but this one has me stumped.Older than 1973,no hull #. Indentations in thr deck mold for a windshield,so not a raceboat. What is it?

Looks Carlsonish to me.

That's what I though, too. What does it look like from the back and how long is it? Single windshield?

Carlson contender at least it looks like the one in my back yard. Does it have a skeg and the tunnels go back to an almost flat bottom? Rick

I'll try to get some more pics up. When I first saw it I thought Carlson, but it is a full tunnell so that would mean CT-15,but it has an open cockpit, with side steering and I don't think any CT-15's had that layout.

Carlson made some one off customs ... there is no strict rule on bottom shape or length on his boats.

Raceman and I never said it WAS a Carlson, just it looks Carlson-ish. I think the single curved windshield probably rules it out as a Carlson

Did all the tunnels of that time have the same front end shape? It really looks alot like my contender looking from the front on examination of side view its alot straiter. My contender has left hand steering and bench seat in front that goes into two seats backwards in the back. Were these boats safe with power? Mine looks to be a very unstable ride but of yet have not tried it out. How many of these tunnels were made for it seems more and more old tunnels are surfacing and is there any value as far as a performance rig? Thanks Rick

Here are more pics. Pretty sure it's not a Catson, this boat at one time must have had an aluminum frame windshield as the is an indention on each side of the deckwhere the side wing frame went, and I don't recall Art doing that on the older ones.

Please do a search on here for Ebko Stinger...That is what you have. I have posted plenty of info here on it. I have had 2 in the last couple years.

Bingo! Thanks LR99. I called him to tell him what it was and he had already decided it was going to be too much work to restore, offered it to me for the $400 he paid for it Monday. But I passed,we have a Switzer and a Sleeckcraft that will take up our winter :)

Mark75H - did you receive the picture I tried to send?

yes, I finally got it. The pixel size looked correct, it must have needed more "compression"

Here it is:

Would that be considered a "gaggle" of T2's or just a 'SH*TLOAD???

That Stinger looks like a cross between a Hydrostream (top windshield) and a Glasstron!

I am probably late with this post as I believe it has been identified....but that's what it is. I have an original 72 Ebko Stinger that has been in my family since 1973. Mine still has the original 72 Mercury 115 on it and it runs great. Let me know if you decide to restore it and I can probably help with pictures, etc.

I'm new to the site....so forgive me if I don't know the rules of the lake here.
