Since we were talkin' about these on another thread, here's mine. Notice how tall the mid looks in the exhaust snout ABOVE the dividing line with the gearcase compared to the pics of the white ones in the other thread. Also, the scalloped area for the powerhead nuts is very long in comparison to some of the others like the Daytona.

Sorry the background is lousy and the engine's dirty. I was just too lazy to dig it out with a cherry picker for a better pic. It's one of the engines I'm gonna display in my engine line in my new game room, so I'll post better pics then.

The light area around the rear nut near the dividing line with the gearcase is actually a reflection from the flash of the dust from my nasty shop.:(

Hahaha, yeah, I'll bet it does too. There are about a dozen inline 6's in that side of my shop and they all have one thing in common............. I never heard any of em run.

Looks like the Parker lacked the exhaust relief snout the 75H had..how about the others...

I'm not followin' you. The opening on the back of the Parker is larger than the 75H.

I mean the little snout just below the powerhead..

Okay, sorry, I'm a little slow. When I bead blasted that mid I almost spliced a little snout from a Mk78 mid I had layin' around on it, but decided not to modify it even though it's aftermarket. I always liked that little snout up there on all the DR motors and the 75H's.

The little snout came in handy for tieing the motor to the clamps..helped keep the swivel pin from breaking..a little..

Is that an OJ?

"Is that an OJ"

No, he used a single blade to carve them two folks up. An outboard prop has to have at least 2 blades or it'll vibrate.

I honestly can't remember the brand and I'm not close to the engine tonight. I'll look and see. It's not Merc. It may be Michigan. I'll ck tomorrow.

T2X, I'm workin' on doin' better with the motors, although it still won't involve hearin' em run. The new lakehouse has a 25 X 30 gameroom with NOTHING in it now but a big TV and a pool table so far. Guess what else is goin' in there????? Only variable is quantity, but it's gettin' my Twister, T2X, T4, Stacker, short 1000, 1500XS, and F1 V8 for sure.

Raceman,
Have you ever heard of a boat made by "Gaines"? You have some beautiful Mercs there! Scott
