I BOUGHT THE MOTOR OFF A GUY IN FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON(DON'T REMEMBER HIS NAME)BACK IN PROBABLY 1983 OR 84 . HE TOLD ME IT WAS A FACTORY RACE ENGINE.I DO NOT REMEMBER WHAT IT SAID ON THE BLOCK BUT IT DID HAVE THE T2 MID ON IT. IT HAD 6 TILLOTSON TC3-B'S ON IT. IT WAS RIGHT HAND AND I GOT IT WITH 2 SPEEDMASTERS, A 1:1 AND A 13:16. I HAVE A COUPLE PICS BUT I CANNOT GET THEM TO SEND BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO HIGH OF RES.

We were racing at Sloan's lake in Denver,Colorado and it is a protected lake right downtown. The mountains get pretty gusty sometimes. I got hit with a big gust going a little to fast and riding just a little high. I am sure you are aware that by the time you know what is happening in is usually too late. The boat was a Broughton SE boat(Barely legal length), with a t-2 merc on it. Needless to say, it had a lot of lift in the hull!!! I had run the boat quite a few times in primer but my sponsor just painted and lettered the boat and this was the first race with the new paint job! Didn't win(I was in 2nd)but got great coverage on TV! We thought the motor was gone(because the transom was), but it was at the end of the steering cable when we drug the boat to shore. I have some other pics of the engine but we moved and still have things in boxes. The motor cowl as far as I know, is still at the bottom of Sloans lake. Ron Brown at Harris marine in Ft Collins, Co eventually ended up with the powerhead and rebuilt it and sold it. I sold The rest of the engine, with one of Seebold's powerheads on it and a tunnel to a guy in Ohio in 1990 ,who was going to put the t-2 (along with a 2nd) on a Switzer wing. Thanks for compressing the photos! What was I doing wrong?
