I know we have a pile of forums here but I think this one might be worth while. It would make it a lot easier to find an old post if it was in it's correct forum. What ya think??????

This saddens me. In my profession, we often live and die by the individual development of a safety mindset. Our safety programs are firmly established - important in a business where we allow people with less than 300 flying hours instruct clueless students. Safety programs and awareness broaden opportunities to learn from the mistakes of others. After performing modifications, if someone blows their engine because of a lack of understanding of the potential consequences...well, that's not good. But someone getting hurt because of lack of knowledge....

In an effort to start things off:

Blowovers

1. What speed did it occur

2. What indication, if any, did you have prior

3. How have you changed your driving

I'd appreciate responses from the senior folks. First hand knowledge acceptable.
