Due to locally heavy rains and high water, the Chouteau race has to be postoned and will not take place this weekend. When I hear the new date, I'll let you know.

Thanks.

Ain't that a b****. That durn place get's too much rain, and we can't get any. I know Conklin's gonna be PO'd, he was gonna make the debut next weekend. He's been through a lot to make it there. I heard they may be looking for a new site for Sept/Oct, any word on that?

Joe, You know as well as I do that us rope racer's can't run with you heads up guy's. We like going to a race and running up front, not runnin' in the back of the pack.

Yep. They tried to reschedule, but couldn't find a date that worked for everybody.

I don't know why they don.t take it to Grand Lake, say the Horse Creek arm by the unfinished bridge, protected water, not much traffic and I.m sure we could get GRDA to make an exception for a day or two about boats in the area. The only problem I see is not a lot of places to park. The town of Bernice has excellent emergency equiptment and there are plenty of places to stay not far away. Just a thought.
