The 3rd race of the season for KDBA is this weekend at Pisqua (Spelling??) Bay in Grand Rivers, Ky. Great race sight and good payouts depending on the size of the classes, last race they raced for $2400 in M/E. Come out and support the race if you can, I won't be able to make it myself waiting on my new boat. Good luck and be safe to all those going

We had a great time. Saturday morning we freed the boat up and threw all the weight out, to see what she'd run with the 260. It ran a 10.4 at 107, so we put the screws back down and tried to qualify 11's. The boat was either a tenth or so to slow or to fast. We couldn't get it just right. My crew chief let me down, LOL. (I'm gonna hear it on that one) Anyway, we qualified dang near last, went to first round Sunday and had to run the toughest boat there IMO, Brad cut a sub .100 light, I got lucky and cut an .007. Brad ran me down, and then I pedaled it and he broke out. In the Semi's I had the same thing happen to me, I ran a 10.984. Oh well that racing.

I agree on the big congrats to Billy Miles on HP champ for '07!!!! He worked hard for it and deserves it. Me and Bill had an excellent race, good side by side racing, but when you cut a .100 light to an .007 (great light Bill!!) it's hard to catch up without a breakout........it sure was fun!!!!............Brad

Congrats to Billy Miles great job in his 1st year driving a performance boat and winning the Championship in Ky for 2008 (Brad you won in 2007, LOL) There are some very consistant boats running in KDBA.

Jon

The Super 8 in Owensboro is OK but I have stayed at the Sleep Inn which is a little nice but about 5 mikes further away. There is a Fairfield which is real nice but pricey. Jon wish I was going to be there to seeya run but i hope I'll be on my way to FLA to pick up my new Quartershot!!!!! Trying to get ready to run Chouteau Ok the 16th, got a lot of work to do.

Trying to get ready to run Chouteau Ok the 16th, got a lot of work to do.

Maybe I'll have MY chit runnin by then, lol.... took out 2 pistons in 5 seconds with a 350 hp shot (2 stage fogger) but MAN was it FUN!!!!!

I'll have 2 bottles for Chouteau instead of 1, and I'll have a bigger fuel solenoid fuse, lol...

I've gotta run a stock 260 this weekend for Cowtown Nationals in Ft. Worth :(

Jon, I'm really glad to hear your coming to Livermore. I've only had the pleasure of seeing the "Tinker Toy" run a couple of times, but I can't wait to see it again. WOW, what a boat!!!! See you there, Bill
