I need a sporty for my 2.4 bridgeport. Will your drive bolt on, and I need to know what size/diamiter your water pump pick up is.

This unit came off a 93 2.5L 200hp Merc. The water pump and bolt pattern is for that motor. I am not sure if this will bolt up to your motor. You'll have to check with your machanic.

the bolt pattern on ya'lls motor is the same. you'll just need to look to see if your water tube in the sportmaster is a 1/2 inch. i think thats what the bridgeport is but i could be wrong. i do know it will bolt up

all 2.0/2.4/2.5 lowers interchange, even a 3/4" watertube sporty can be adapted to fit a 1/2" adaptor plate with a few copper pieces from a plumbing supply store...
3.0L cases are different and are actually Alpha Gen 2 cases that can be bolted up to 98ish-newer alpha1 sterndrives with the shorter driveshaft and one hole machined out for oil transfer between upper and lower...

The shaft looks good. No rust. Only used in fresh water. Call me Friday morning sometime. 760-402-9158.
it sort of looks like there is a tab on the right side of the skeg. Maybe it is just my crappy monitor, but is this a left hand or a right hand sporty?

It is a Right hand turn.
