First off I have to thank the town of Kingston, Rick Ross, and all of their people who helped make this event happen. They put on an event that couldn't be beat. I would also like to thank Glenn Reynolds for all of his help. BIG thanks to Tony & Linda Brucato for their sponsorship of the ECDBA. Tony, you need to get that Laser ready for Manning on the 20th. Thanks go to all the rest of you who helped and had a hand in making this event happen.

We had 21 boats and 26 entries which made for a great day of racing. Sorry it took so long to get the results up, here they are:

To show the ECDBA's support to those racers who support us I would like to let all who participated in this event to know that we are giving EVERY ONE OF THE 26 ENTRIES their $100 entry fee back. This is on top of our payout. You guys are the ones that make this all possible, and this is our way of saying thank you.

We're looking forward to another great race coming up on 20 Jul 08 at Manning, SC. Stay tuned.....

About how well this race went off, everything went like clockwork, i didnt hear any complaining, everyone did what they needed when nessesary, the people involved(all of them) were absolutly incredible, ive heard all kinds of stories about pissin and moanin, bad scenes, there was none of that here, the only and only thing that was a little of a pain, was Mr.Phil waitin till ten min before his race to remember he needed to get his boat ready, but, it was handled...lol....Im hopin to make another one thanx Joe for talkin me into comin, it was a riot

Had a blast at kingston. Makes a difference when the town gets involved and wants us there. Everything went very smooth and well organized. Was glad to see Stovall made it. I think that's good for the sport. Hope now maybe others will join in. Thanks again and I'll see yall in Manning.

Michael, don't forget to send me the pictures. 1jphii@gmail.com. If anyone else has pics send them to me and I'll post them. I'd like to get a pic or two of mine from that race. Everyone always pisses & moans about no pics, but no one ever sends me any. I stay kinda busy at a race, so takin pics is a little tough.

That said, here's one of the E-Tec boat testing:

What's the fun in not waiting till the last minute?:D:D

I'm hoping you can make another one too. Great to see the green motor out there. Even better that it is an Evinrude!!
