Chowchilla Race Cancelled

Just saw on the IHBA website that the Chowchilla, California race has been cancelled. That's the second major race lost this year by IHBA.

Chow is only a two hour drive from here and a killer track to run on
Hope like hell they can find an alternative site

Any reason for the cancellation?The local Lions Club, which has the contract for promoting the race, decided to void the last year of a four year contract with IHBA. I saw on another site that some of the local businesses were trying to get together and do something about it.
