I am wanting to get a handheld GPS for the boat. I was at Boaters World today and was looking at the eTrex by Garmin but the guy working there said that the Lowrance iFinder H2O Color for the money was a great buy. He said it has a great base map. The only thing he could figure out was to have the speed show on the screen big enough to see without a magnafying glass. If anyone has an opinion on this unit, please advise. I have never had nor used a GPS unit before so I need some guidance. I really want something reasonable in price range but that will have a good map of the waterways. Give me some direction guys.....thanks.
