Way to go, hopefully we have similar luck here in a few weeks at Poplar Bluff with the new ride. How many boats in your class? THats a great way to start the year on top of the points. Hope the rest of the year goes the same way.

What mods did you make, lightening the boat, I understand about the driver, I have lost 35#'s so far thi9s year.

RickRick we started with 14,but two broke.I went four rounds counting final.I went to a nine ring crank and had it "offset ground"to help with balance (David at Marine crankshafts in Calif).Custom ported pistons by Rich Srnec.Galen Burlen lightened my clamp and swivel by 16 pounds (you have to run the stubby offshore 2" trim ram).I lightenened my chuck Goodman motor bracket by five pounds and lost 17 off my fat azz.I picked up around three tenths elapsed time and dont have to sweat it when the air hits4800' corrected, like it always does at Pheonix.Congrats on the 35#s,that huge. You will probably red light if you leave on the same #:D I caught a .005 RT in the first round,so i added three gallons of gas to compensate. You have to be careful adding wieght as it can hurt your overall ET to.take care
