Terry Bilbrey died late Sunday on the way home from races in Ohio. He owned two boats Champaign Taste and Champaign Dreamin. Champaign Taste set American record of 147.265 miles per hour in the K racing runabout class on April 6 in Crescent City. Terry was paralized from the chest down after a crash on a practice run in 1977. The boat was repaired and won a national championship three months later, Terry went on owning the two boats mentioned above. Our prayers go out to his family, friends and driver Duff Daily.
