SLDBA Final in New Athens, ILL

The final St Louis Drag Boat Association race wil be Sept 9th and 10th. They will have classes from 7 sec to 13 sec, come and join the fun. Hope to see you there. Come by the pits and look up myself #0494 and Baja 18 Brad Murphy #105, we'll be pitted together Yellow Mirage and a Red Mirage. There will be at least 10 outboards running in several differnt classes.

I made it to the finals running a very strong jet, we were #1 and #2 in points just 10 points apart, i cut a 0.003 light and got beat by 0.001 sec in the finals, ended up with Runner up high points, Brad won High Points in 11 sec and Brian jackson with a Cottman powered Yami on a Mirage won the 11 sec class, Tom Klement the sausage man from Wi won RR1 in a Merc power STV

Our points in M/E had 4 of us less than 50 points apart at the start of the weekend, none of us could take out the young kid in the jet, he won the last 2 SLDBA races. I only ran a 10.194 in the finals after running 10.02's and .03's all weekend???? Just wasn't meant to be, he cut a 0.043 light himself and ran a 10.153.

Congrat's on the Runner up in High points!!!! You got some Tuff Competition up there don't ya? :confused:
