Here are some pics of my new project. It is a 1970 Dutchman 17' tunnel hull. I bought it from a friend of mine. It has been in his family since the mid 70's. From 1978 it was the sign for their marina(also my sponsor on my sst 120 boat) for about 10+ years. It is in surprisingly good condition. It is the only one I have ever seen with the factory back cowling. Check out the molded in cup holders(in a 1970 boat). It also has left hand steering.:D :D

Hey We Got One Just Like That My Dad Bought It New It Had A 135 Merc On It And Later On We Put A 150 Xs On It It Will Run Around 70 M.p.h. The Old Boat Is Heavy.. We Also Still Run It Every Year And We Still Have The Rear Seat Cover Cowl That Makes It Into A Two Seater.. The Boat I Think Is A 1972 Model Still Solid And Don't Leak..

Why the name dutchman, does that mean that the boat is build by a dutchman.
