I heard about Jim Hunt today and found out he has been in the V.A.Hospital in Gainesville since last Wednesday. He has had two heart attacks and is undergoing angioplasty today. He sounded good and hopeful that they should be able to take care of his problem. Keep him in your prayers. I'll keep you posted.

Jim is still in the Hospital. They went in today to insert a stint and found damage in another area as well so will try to finish their work in 2 days from now. He should be at full throttle by MT. Dora.

Just got off the phone with Jim and they did the second stint this morning, he says everything is fine. He sounded good and said he felt a lot better. The Doctor had not been in to see him yet after the stint but hopefully he will check out tomorrow and stay in the motel near the hospital and go home Sun if no complications. He says he is bringing his boat to Mt Dora!

Jeff, I Resemble Those Remarks. First Let Me Thank Everyone For The Kind Words, Thoughts And Prayers. I Am Home And Well. I Still Don't Understand All The Fuss About Me. I Was In Good Hands At The Gainesville Va Hospital. I Now Have Two Stents And I Feel Like I'm Good For Another 63 Years. Most Of You Guys Are Too Young To Remember. I Have Been Under A Lot More Pressure Situations Than This Was. After All, I've Had To Line Up Against Sirois, Herring, Seebold, Jimbo, Sanders, Pruitt, Stickle, Downard And A Lot More Guys Of Their Caliber On The Same Day. This Was A Piece Of Cake. Thanks Again For All The Support.

Very Glad to hear you are doing better and at home now.

Whew, y'all had me scared. I'm sure glad this thread has a happy ending. Jim's one of the nicest folks I've ever met, in or out of the boating community. I should have known all it would take was a little tinkering here and there to get him back up and running.

Hope the rest of your recovery goes well and your back out looking for trouble in no time. :)

Funny, I don't remember Jim having this many friends when he was racing.

That's because most people only saw him from the back and didn't recognize him later.;)

I've waited to post on this 'cause I figured you didn't have internet access in the hospital. I'm glad it wasn't too tough a proceedure. When're you gonna get up this way again? I think it's my turn to buy.
